SAFE ENVIRONMENT

As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility and are entrusted by God with the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of minors and vulnerable adults. As they participate in activities within or sponsored by our Parish, it is our responsibility and commitment to providing an environment that is safe and nurturing.

The Safe Environment Program at St. Martin of Tours, as mandated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is a comprehensive child safety and child sexual abuse prevention program, which creates a network of prevention and protection for the children entrusted into our care. Any individual 14 and older participating in any of our Ministries or volunteering in any way for St. Martin of Tours will need a certain level of State and Federal clearances. Anyone 18 or older may need additional clearances for the Archdiocese, depending on the level of involvement and type of ministry activity. If you have any questions, please call the parish office.

ANYONE NEEDING CLEARANCES FOR EMPLOYMENT FOR A PARISH OR SCHOOL SHOULD VISIT THE ARCHDIOCESAN WEBSITE FOR RELEVANT INFORMATION.
