Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) program is held during the Saturday evening 5:30PM Mass and during the Sunday morning Masses at 8:30AM and 11:00AM from September to May. The children leave Mass to hear their own Liturgy of the Word in the Gathering Area with an adult catechist and return to their families at the Offertory of the Mass. This program is for children 4 to 8.
Liturgical Ministries
Adult Choir
Any adult who is willing to share his or her singing talent with the other adults and with the parish community at various liturgical celebrations is more than welcome. The Choir practices on Thursday evenings from 7:30PM-9:00PM.
Cantors
The ministry of Cantor is the leading of the congregation in song at the Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Anyone interested in sharing your talent with the community is more than welcome.
Greeters
Any young adult or adult who would like to greet people as they come into church at the various liturgical celebrations serves the parish by presenting a welcoming atmosphere most especially to visitors. At the end of Mass on the weekends, the Greeters and Ushers give the weekly bulletin to those leaving Mass.
Youth Band Ministry
The youth of the parish are welcome to share their musical talents with the congregation in song and musical instruments in celebration of the Mass and other special events of the Church. This ministry works on keeping our church and especially our sanctuary beautiful for worship and prayer, most particularly at the special feast of Christmas and Easter
Altar Servers
Any young person who has received First Eucharist is welcome to become an Altar Server and serve at the various liturgical celebrations throughout the year. Please call the parish if your child is interested.
Extraordinary Ministers
Parishioners are nominated to be Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. These ministers help with the distribution of the Eucharist at parish masses and bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are ill or homebound.
Lectors
Any young adult or adult who would like to proclaim the Scriptures at the liturgies of the parish is welcome. Lectors minister to the parish community by proclaiming the Word of God.
Ushers
Any adult or young adult who would like to welcome people to the liturgical celebrations by giving them a hymnal and when needed showing them to their seats. The Ushers also take up the collections at the Offertory of the Mass. At the end of Masses on the weekends, the Ushers and greeters give the weekly bulletin to those leaving Mass.
